This project employs modular design strategies with a focus on fostering collaboration among
citizens, ecological systems, and industrial forces to ensure comfortable and healthy living conditions
in the context of severe drought and water scarcity. The intervention targets the Las Wash waterway,
dividing the design into three key zones: ecological preservation, community services, and river
restoration. Is it a neon-lit paradise or a drought-stricken sewer community? Behind the glamorous
facade of a tourist-driven city lies a stark contrast between wealth and poverty, revealing harsh
and often uninhabitable living conditions for its most vulnerable residents. This project challenges
that divide by proposing an adaptive, community-centered approach to urban resilience and
environmental justice.
